At 10, I started caring for my neighbors, who were a few years younger than me. Over time, our family created more family friends, who then had kids. I have cared for kids professionally from ages 2 to 12. Some experience examples from families I sat for regularly: - two girls, aged 8 and 6: picked up from school, drove them to country club for swim practice, another sports facility for cheer practice, and made them food at their house. - two girls, aged 4 and 6: took them on walks around the city, made them food at the house, took care of them through their night time routine, and craft time. - 1 boy, aged 7: picked up from school, supervised to play dates.
