About Olivia

I am a former collegiate athlete and a recent college graduate from California State East Bay who majored in Kinesiology(the study of how the body moves). During the time I received my degree I was a Summer school teacher for low income minority students provided through a program located in San Francisco and taught art as well as history. I then continued with the program and taught 5th graders after school. I helped them with math and English. Later I left and started substitute teaching for a program where I became a long term substitute teacher for a school and took over another 5th grade class after two of their teachers quit on them. I taught English and math and built strong relationships with my students and helped them succeed through their state testing. I now work full time as a P. E. teacher and love every moment of it. I have a passion for English and writing and am gifted in math.
