About Ona

Nurturing children's growth and making a positive impact on their lives are my passions. With three years of experience teaching and caring for children of all ages, I offer a patient, creative, and friendly approach. I have a Fine Arts Bachelor Degree from the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus on furniture making and exhibit design. I am a certified Fabrication Specialist Educator at an architecture college called SCI-ARC and teach students how to fabricate site models for school. I have First Aid Training and CPR Training from SCI-ARC. I follow parents' lead on household rules and communication preferences. I enjoy board games, puzzles, and educational games. My 3 years of experience teaching after-school art programs allows me to bring fun art and craft-based activities to your children. I am comfortable caring for up to two children. I am also happy to help with light housekeeping and meal preparation. I look forward to bringing my creativity and calm demeanor to your family!
