My skills include working with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Personal care include bathing, dressing, hair and nail care, and active listening. I'd describe my personality as kind, respectful, and a great sense of humor. I like caring for seniors because they have the best stories, what you see is what you get, and they aren't afraid to tell it like it is. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help keep seniors in their own homes for as long as possible for a better quality of life. I started caring for seniors when I was a child helping my parents care for my grandparents. I've been in healthcare for 23 years. In my spare time, I spend time in nature walking and hiking. I write poetry, songs and books. I also enjoy music and dancing. I've been trained in, and utilize both massage therapy and reiki when working with seniors.
