About Paola

Hello, my name is Paola, I am 33 years old, I am from Venezuela and I live in Austin, Texas. In my country, I was a nurse for almost 10 years, and here I am a preschool teacher's assistant in a school in the Austin, Texas Independent School District. My current role is to supervise the children at all times; there are 12 children per class. I help them with their academic and creative activities, supervising them at all times, including during lunch and when they play in the park, and I support the teacher with academic activities. I have also worked with babies under 1-year-old in a daycare with 8 children per classroom and two teachers. My role in the daycare was feeding, diaper changing, nap monitoring, motor stimulation exercises according to each baby's needs, and constant supervision. I have a first aid certification. My first language is Spanish, and I have very basic English, which I am studying to improve.
