About Patawe

My name is Patawe and I am looking to provide reading tutoring services to a few students (Kindergarten-3rd grade). I have a dual masters degree in early childhood education and special education and a bachelors in communication disorders. I have over 10 years of experience teaching students with a wide variety of needs and believe that reading should be fun for all students. Each lesson I plan is engaging and includes a multi-sensory approach to make phonics instruction meaningful (rather than just memorizing). I assess students, monitor their progress, and tailor learning to meet specific needs. Families are also given personalized activities between sessions that reinforce lessons.
