I was in need of a morning caregiver for my husband, who is in the late stages of dementia. I needed someone I could count on for reliability & compassionate care of my husband. I found Patra on Care.com. Patra has been my husband's morning caregiver for the last year, and I consider this time a blessing for my husband and I. Patra has assisted me with my husband's diaper changes, bed baths, Hoyer lift transfers, preparing and feeding him lunches, and supervision, so I could attend to work and duties outside our home. Patra has been extremely reliable, and has provided very compassionate care. She completely understood the need for a very quiet and calm atmosphere, where only my husband's relaxing piano music could be heard. She made sure her phone was on silence, and took necessary calls outside or in another room, as not to disturb him. Patra will be leaving us soon. Anyone looking for evening care will be blessed to have Patra assisting in the care of their loved one.
