I began my first senior care position at 16 with a nursing home in Dover, Ohio. I worked there for many years. I cared for my elderly grandparents in their home until they needed more care and were eventually moved into my home. I have worked as a home health aide with the elderly, clients who were not elderly but needed help at home and the developmentally disabled in a home setting. I very recently had one of my elderly clients pass and am looking to fill those vacant hours.
