Hello my name is Patty I am 47 years old and I have always enjoyed working with children I got my first job as a babysitter at the age of 13 in high school I took a BOCES course for child care the first year we ran a preschool in the BOCES and the second year I worked in the elementary school with kindergartners and first graders my first job out of high school was at the new school in yaphank it is a special needs preschool I worked in the classroom with the special needs preschoolers and I also worked in the daycare center taking care of the teacher's children I took care of children anyways from 6 weeks old to preschool kindergarten age I also work for a bus company where I was a driver's assistant for preschoolers and special needs children and I have worked in group homes with special needs adults I was CPR and first aid certified my certificates are expired I would have no problem renewing them
