About Patricia

I am currently a recently retired grade three, Special Education inclusion teacher, having taught in second through sixth grades. As an inclusion teacher I am required to modify or adapt all parts of the curriculum so all students can access it, to provide learning at their levels. I have experience in the following state testing: Terranova, ASK3, ASK4, ASK5, as well as the Foundations Reading Program and Wilson Reading Program. My spelling program training includes Words Their Way, and in writing, I am familiar with Being a Writer. In my classroom I currently use the Envision Common Core based math program. My previous experience includes both individual tutoring experience, as well as co-head teacher for an after-school program servicing grades K-5. I have over 20 years of experience.
