About Patricia

Patricia E. was our son's nanny (as part of a two-child nanny share) from February 2015 through November 2015. E. was about 9 months old when Patricia started working with him, and she worked with him until he was about 19 months old. Patricia came with wonderful references, and she did an excellent job as a caregiver for E. She was responsible and caring with the boys. She played with them, took them outside (often multiple times per day), read to them, fed and changed them, and helped them be on a regular nap schedule. When E. learned to do things like point to all of his body parts, we knew that was because of Patricia patiently and gently teaching him. E. was happy to see Patricia every morning, and it was very comforting to know that he was safe and well-looked after with her. We would have been pleased to continue to work with Patricia. The reason we ended the share is that we have an older daughter who unexpectedly got a spot at our local public school in the fall; because we needed after-school care for her as well, we decided to look for a nanny to work just for us.
