About Patzy

We hired Patzy to care for our son when he was 15 months old in 2021. Prior to that, my husband and I were switching off caring for him and working from home during the pandemic. As new parents, we didn't really know what to look for or ask for in a nanny. We just knew we needed help! When we met Patzy, we knew she was the one. Our son liked her immediately. She got on his level, addressed him with respect, and calmly waited for him to be curious about her. We were like, this lady knows what she's doing! Now they are best buds. We also liked her immediately. She is warm, kind, funny, easygoing, and a joy to be around. I am genuinely excited to see her in the morning. When you hire someone to care for your kid, you're signing up to spend a lot of time around them - for us, it was important to hire someone we felt comfortable with. Everyone loves Patzy. She's the best. It turns out that we didn't have to know exactly what to ask for in a nanny, because Patzy knew what to do. She helped us work out a routine, transition to one nap, work out sleep issues that came up, and feed our son healthy snacks and meals he loves to eat. She helped establish a daily play group for our son with kids that are now his best buds. When some of those kids left to start school, she went out into the neighborhood, chatted people up, and made him *new* friends to hang with during the day. So good! Our son is now ready for preschool and we are so sad to have to give up our full time schedule with Patzy. She undoubtedly helped us get to this point and we are so grateful. Any family with kids of any age would be lucky to work with Patzy. We 100% recommend her.
