Hello, I have not worked in a healthcare facility but I did care for my daughter who passed away from cancer. I also lost my father from cancer. I understand the everyday struggle and emotional torment it takes on a person. Having a personal break is needed when taking care of a loved one who is ill. After my father's passing I moved in with my mother so she is not alone and to help out around the house , she is independent but there are things she can't do, she has COPD. I help around her house with yard work, cleaning, sheet changing, laundry, cooking.
