I have been assisting seniors in their homes for the past 8 years. I go well beyond what those that work for agency's do. My care is custom designed to fit my client's personal needs. I do the research to assure that my clients receive all benefits available to them. (If they need specific equipment such as walkers, shower chairs, etc.) I make certain that my seniors have all the proper medical care that they need. I work as a go between with client, family, and doctor. Experienced in Dementia/Alzheimer's patient care ... Preparing diets for one's specific needs is important. Changing eating habits can sometime reduce the amount of medication prescribed. (This happened with my last client that had type 2 diabetes. He lost weight and his meds were cut in half).. Most important, I work to make sure my clients enjoy their lives. Sometimes just getting out of the house can make a big difference..
