About Peter

Hi! I'm Peter -- I'm enthusiastic, patient, and love helping students learn and grow. I graduated magna cum laude from Gonzaga University with a B. S. in Biology (3. 82 GPA) and scored in the 83rd percentile on the MCAT. As a Teaching Assistant for a college biology lab and a volunteer with Science in Action, I've taught students of all ages -- from hands-on science lessons for 3rd graders to guiding college students through complex lab concepts. I also worked as a summer camp counselor, where I learned how to make learning fun and engaging. While I specialize in biology and general science, I'm also happy to tutor students in math, reading, and other core subjects at the elementary, middle, or early high school levels. My goal is to help each student feel confident, curious, and excited to learn!
