I have worked with children my entire life. I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Secondary Education and have logged numerous hours in practicums and internships. I student taught at an amazing high school and with an amazing cooperative teacher. There, I taught 10th graders for an entire semester (three classes) while integrating fun, challenging, and exciting activities and ways to learn! I have also taught at a learning center teaching school-age kids (ages 6-11) full-time. This was a great time! I really got to explore my creativity and come up with fun, exciting, and age appropriate activities. One thing I really like to do with kids I care for is take them outside. Being active is a huge part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Also, I have babysat since I was 13 or 14, ages ranging from 9 months to 4 or 5 years old. I love kids and I love caring for them and being a part of their lives!
