About Pilar

My passion for teaching and working with children began at a very young age and that love for education has only grown stronger over the years. With over 20 years of experience working with children, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings. I spent four years at the YMCA supporting children with special needs and also worked as a substitute teacher in elementary schools, teaching students from Pre-K through fifth grade. For the past four years, I've served as the Assistant Director at a preschool, where I continue to find joy in helping children learn and grow every day. I earned my Associate's Degree in Elementary Education from Broward College and later graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I am responsible, patient, and passionate about creating fun and engaging activities that support children's development and learning.
