About Polly

I have a special place in my heart for the elderly. I enjoy being able to help them maintain their independence, so they can remain in their home safely as long as possible. I have a bachelors degree is social work and a masters in counseling. I worked in social services for the aging population for over 12 years, specializing in dementia care. I took time off to be a SAHM and help to care for my own aging parents. After my father suffered a stroke, I acted as my parent's medical POA, helping to hire/manage their caregivers, transportation, doctor appt. and meds. It's wanted to ensure that their voice was heard, and they were always treated with the dignity and respect they deserved. With the recent passing of my father, it's been very difficult , but I'm reminded everyday of the great memories we shared, and will cherish them forever. While I continue to oversee my mom's care, I want to help others, so they too can have a great quality of life and live each day to the fullest.
