Hello, my name is Priya! I am a 22-year-old graduate student who is in the process of completing my MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) program at SUNY Binghamton. I have a BA in English from SUNY Bing where I majored in English with a concentration in creative writing. Although I have one semester left before earning my MAT, I have decided to take a leave of absence to gain more experience before becoming a full-time teacher. This year I will be subbing per-diem and tutoring in order to further develop my ability to teach and adapt to individual student needs. I have an incredible drive and passion for teaching and seek to bring out the best work I can from my students. I have been tutoring since I was in high school, and have taught and tutored for two districts in the Binghamton area over the course of my MAT program so far.
