About Rachael

As a program director for a nonprofit for the last 10 years, I have decided it is time for a change. I was a nanny while I was in college and graduate school and I loved it. My graduate degree and previous teacher status have provided me with a strong foundation in child development. I have over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with IDD and mental illness. I'm patient, very outgoing, and friendly, and I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with children. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children of all ages. I provide regular updates to parents via text or phone call, or I follow their preferred method of communication. I hold current First Aid and CPR trainings. I am happy to assist with cooking, tutoring, carpooling, crafts, and swimming supervision. I find immense joy in watching children learn and explore, and I look forward to creating a fun and enriching environment for your fa
