About Rachel

My name is Rae, I am a 27-year-old located in Richmond, VA. I absolutely love working with children and getting to watch them grow and learn new things. I got into childcare at 14 watching kids around the neighborhood. Since then, my love for kids has only grown. I have been a nanny for about 7 years. I have experience with children of all ages. I especially love working with toddlers. I have experience with disabilities such as Autism. I am comfortable helping with AAC or feeding tubes. I know basic sign language, although I am not yet fluent. As a nanny, I am responsible, compassionate, and silly. I enjoy going on outings such as story times, parks, and walks around the neighborhood. I believe strongly in learning through play. I enjoy planning crafts and am a big believer in the importance of outside time. In my free time I enjoy crocheting and cooking.
