About Rachel

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children has been my passion for over six years. My babysitting experiences motivated me to support families by providing a reliable childcare option. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I will be a senior at the University of Iowa and will be graduating with a bachelor's in health studies in May 2026 and I have some early childhood development coursework I've taken at my university. I am comfortable caring for around one to three children and around the ages of 1-12 years old. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and even some technology-based games. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents at pickup and follow their preferred communication methods. I am also happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I am trained in CPR. I would love to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family and create a safe and fun environment for your child.
