About Rachel

I have been employed part time for 8 years as a caregiver for seniors and adults with special needs. I am a licensed Az K-6 elementary school teacher and enjoy supporting my community members through providing excellent home support on the weekends. I am committed to facilitating independence, while providing the support necessary to stay active at home. I am flexible, understanding, a good listener, and an encourager. I have an eye for detail and enjoy keeping spaces near and tidy! I'd describe my personality as encouraging, flexible, and understanding. I like caring for seniors because I believe maintaining supported independence through participation in activities of daily living keep seniors grounded in their relationships and community. I'm looking for a job that is active, fulfilling, and flexible. My skills include non- medical essential support, including; bathing (hygiene), toileting, cooking, care of the physical space, and companionship.
