About Rachel

I am interested in taking on a full-time role, but I just need to put in my 2 weeks notice before accepting. My current availability is for my schedule with my job. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, friendly, and easygoing. I like working with kids because they have great insights on what they notice around them. They absorb knowledge really quickly and look at the world with a new perspective. It's amazing when you are able to bond with a child and get to know them. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old babysitting for my math teacher's children. I have also taught private music lessons and small group music classes after graduating college. Over the past 13 years, I have watched my nieces and nephew whenever my sister needed extra help when her husband went away for conferences. 3 years ago, I officially started working at a daycare. I found my home with the 4-5-year-olds. In my spare time, I like to go to Eagle Creek Park, relax at home, and play music.
