About Rachel

I highly, highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a caregiver based on my wonderful experience with her — first when I hired her as a baby nurse to care for my son as an infant, and later when I rehired her to care for my son as a toddler when I returned to work. Rachel is incredibly knowledgeable about infants and young children and she has an extremely kind, warm, and gentle presence that made her someone my entire family became attached to. She is exceptionally punctual, always arriving exactly on time, and she is very precise and detail-oriented and kept logs of how much my baby ate as an infant and when he fell asleep and woke up throughout her time with him. I combo fed my baby (breastfeeding him and topping up with formula) and Rachel was adept at supporting all of this, she is great at facilitating breastfeeding or formula feeding depending on whatever works best for you. She was also a pro at soothing my baby (who was not always an easy sleeper!) and she has always engaged him through singing, constant communication, and creative play. She truly does all of the things to stimulate a baby or young child that all of the blogs and parenting books advise and it is just abundantly evident that caring for young people is her passion! Any family would be so lucky to have her as a caregiver!
