About Rachel

I am a responsible, caring, patient person and I love kids. One of my favorite parts about working with kids is watching them learn and experience new things and seeing the world through their eyes. I have had occasional babysitting jobs since I was 18. I lived in Southern California for a while and babysat my yoga teacher's 4-year-old twins; however I moved back to South Carolina to be closer to my niece and nephew, now 4 and 7. I have helped care for them both since they were born and they are my favorite people in the world! I enjoy playing games with them, read stories, helping them learn to read and write, watching Disney movies, having tea parties and playing dress up, just to name a few things! I also love dogs and work well with them but am unfortunately allergic to cats. When I was in California I assisted my boyfriend in his dog walking and boarding business. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, crafts, and doing local theatre.
