About Rachel

After a fulfilling career dedicated to elementary education, I'm eager to transition my passion for nurturing young minds into childcare. My 30 years of experience teaching kindergarten and first grade have equipped me with patience, a calm demeanor, and a deep understanding of child development. I am comfortable caring for up to two children, ages 0-11. I enjoy playing board games and educational puzzles that promote learning. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules and will always follow your preferred method of communication, providing regular updates via text or phone call. As a certified teacher with early childhood development coursework, I'm also trained in CPR and First Aid. I'm happy to help with carpooling, too! I hope to bring my skills to your family and create a fun and safe environment for your children to thrive.
