Rachel was our nanny after having our second son. She was and still is a very important member of our family. Rachel was always reliable and showed up on time. She would always follow up with us after her shifts to let us know how the day went. Rachel actively took our kids on outings and my son to his necessary supports (speech and occupational therapy) while we were at work. The only reason we had to stop using Rachel was that our children were in school full-time. Even though Rachel is no longer our nanny, she is still very much part of our family. In December, our 5-year-old son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It turned our lives upside down. Rachel wanted to be trained to give him injections and help be our babysitter, which means a lot to us.
