About Rachel

I like working with animals because my mother owns a vet clinic in my hometown! I was pre-vet at UT but just switched my major to wildlife health, I hope to work with wildlife in come capacity in the future. I started working with animals legitimately when I was a freshman in high-school, I started at a boarding facility and worked my way up into the partner animal hospital. I worked in the clinic from sophomore year to senior year, until I had to leave for college. Since being at UT I have joined all animal/ag related clubs (VPP, Block and Bridle, Dairy Club), volunteered with Young-Willams Animal Shelter, and gotten a job at an animal clinic in Oak Ridge! I am very passionate about all animals and think they deserve more kindness than humans do. In my spare time, I like to read, walk my dog on new routes, watch tv, and spend time outdoors! My skills include meditation administration, walks/enrichment, feeding.
