About Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel an experienced, dependable nanny with 6 years of in home childcare experience (watching 4 children ages from 1month-5 years) and a background as a lead daycare teacher with extensive early childhood education training. I've worked with just two families over the past 6 years and have amazing references available. I've been with my current family for the past 3 years and as they transition into staying home, I'm looking for my next long term fit. I'm passionate about creating a calm, positive, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn. I use positive reinforcement, value emotional development, and have a great system in place for helping little ones prepare for Pre-K. I'm also Safe Sleep Certified and can provide additional certificates. I do bring my 3-year-old daughter with me and during summers my 6-year-old daughter as well.
