About Rachel

Hi, my name is Rachel! I'm a creative, energetic, and responsible sitter excited to meet your family. I recently graduated from Northwestern University and have childcare experience with kids of all ages through babysitting, camp counseling, teaching artistry, and volunteering. I've babysat for several years through Northwestern's sitters & tutors program, worked as a camp counselor, and served as an assistant teaching artist in D. C., teaching theatre to children with diverse backgrounds and learning needs (ages 4-14). I also have early childhood experience through volunteering with Head Start and NU programs like ImagineU & Seesaw Theatre, engaging children in theatre and sensory play-based activities. I love creating enriching, active experiences through drama, arts & crafts, science, or outdoor play. I have a car and am happy to drive kids to activities, and I can also help around the house with cooking, baking, and organizing as needed. I hope to meet you and your family soon!
