About Rachel

I graduated from MU with a B. A. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Spanish. I scored a 32 on the ACT. I have a strong foundation in biology, grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension. I feel comfortable tutoring any subject grades K-8, or older depending on the subject. I have tutored children with disabilities or language barriers. Additionally, I am a compassionate and dependable caregiver offering a wide range of services. I have over five years of experience working with children. I am also a parent and a licensed foster parent. I love to help children learn and grow! I also have lifelong experience caring for animals, including dogs, rabbits, and horses, and am very comfortable with pets of all kinds. I would love to provide companionship and assistance with daily life for seniors. I have personal experience with patients with dementia I take pride in being clean and organized. I am happy to help with housekeeping to maintain a comfortable and well-kept home.
