I'm currently a nanny during the work days from 10-2 as well as Nannie's before a special needs little guy from 4mo-1 1/2. I love being creative to make learning fun. I had worked at Saint Phillips Preschool for two years in the 3year old class. It's amazing to see their eyes light up with curiosity. From shaving cream painting, planting produce, lots and lots of sensory play, pretend play with toys and costumes, science projects and just being kids. In Indiana I managed a group home with 5 teenage boys 12 staff around the clock care with various developmental disabilities and lots of different needs. Definitely never a dull moment. Medication administration orally of via g-tube, meal prep, all activities as well as therapeutic goals. With any child and families in need making that connection of trust and care between everyone in involved is a success!
