About Rachel

Hi! My name is Rachel, and I'm passionate about helping young learners grow in confidence and curiosity. I hold a degree in English and have always loved reading- especially sharing that joy with children and helping them discover stories that excite and inspire them. While I'm new to formal tutoring, I bring over four years of hands-on experience working with kids through daycare and babysitting, as well as in an after-school program for elementary students. In that role, I regularly helped children with their homework, supported their learning, and created a positive, encouraging environment. I genuinely love working with kids and strive to make learning feel fun, engaging, and rewarding. Whether it's building reading skills, improving writing, or helping with homework, I'm patient, supportive, and committed to helping each child feel proud of their progress.
