About Rachel

As a mother of two, I understand the importance of finding a caregiver who is both nurturing and reliable. My positive experiences as a mother's helper and babysitter during my teen years solidified my desire to help children and busy parents. I have four years of paid childcare experience, 11 years of parenting experience, and I have a bachelor's degree in marketing from Virginia Tech. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, pretend play, building forts, and more with children. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and follow the parents' lead on household rules and preferred communication methods. I am also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I have gone through First Aid and CPR Training. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment where your child can thrive. I'm eager to bring my compassion and experience to your family.
