About Rakaiya

Hi! My name is Rakaiya, and I'm a second-year pre-law student at the University of Cincinnati. I have a passion for working with children and creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for them. Over the summer, I worked at a daycare for four months with both toddlers and infants, where I helped with daily routines such as changing diapers, serving lunch, supervising activities, and putting children down for naps. I'm also very close with my four nieces, so I've spent a lot of time caring for and bonding with young children in my own family. I'm responsible, reliable, patient, and caring, and I take child safety very seriously. I do have my own transportation. I enjoy keeping kids engaged with activities, games, and learning opportunities, and I'm comfortable with light housekeeping, meal prep, and homework help. My goal is to make parents feel confident and kids feel comfortable and cared for while I'm with them. I look forward to connecting with your family!
