I have worked as a Severe and Profound Special Education teacher for the past 10 years with several years of paid private companion care on the side. About a year ago, I transitioned my career to become a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, I hold an active license through the National Healthcare Association. I have been working in a low income clinic since graduating. I'm skilled in respite care, light errands, light housekeeping, basic meal preparation, and medical management. I am also trained in CPR, First Aid and AED, with a current certification in Basic Life Support. I'm experienced in de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion, and incorporating memory care activities. I have a reliable vehicle.
