Being alongside children while they grow and learn new skills, is fascinating to me. I have 10 years (and counting) of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, including those with special needs. I provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment. I am comfortable caring for up to five children. I enjoy playing all sorts of different games, outdoor or indoor. I like to think I'm a good blanket fort maker, and I love reading books to kids! My knowledge comes from taking early childhood development courses in high school, and being a mom to my 3-year-old boy. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and other activities we discuss. I am patient, friendly, hands-on and follow parents' preferred communication methods, including texts and phone calls. I am comfortable enforcing household rules.
