I've always been around children. I am one of 15 kids from my fathers side. Growing up I helped my mother a lot with my siblings because she was a single mom. I have a lot of cousins that I also would tend to. In high school I took Learning about children's class since I wanted to some day be a teacher. By the time I graduated high school I changed my mind and decided I wanted to open my very own foster care for children. I attended HCC to get started with my career. I completed two semesters and began to work full time and cut back on school. I plan on going back in the fall of 2020 to obtain my Associates degree in social work so that I'm able to one day fulfill my dream.
