When I was 19 years old, I started working in nursing homes as a CNA, certified nursing assistant, moved to Florida for a little bit to care for my grandpa who had colon cancer in 2002, A few short months later, my grandpa passed away and I moved back to Michigan and became a medical assistant. Worked as a medical assistant for 10 years, during that time I took all my pre-requisites for nursing school. I have a passion for photography as well and began taking photos for friends and family and eventually ended up leaving the medical field, becoming a photographer, got married and had two beautiful children. I have been a stay at home mom with my children the past few years, with my business kind of on the back burner. Both of my children are in school full time and this mama needs to get back to doing things she enjoys.
