I took some time off to be home with my 2 children, who are now 19 and 22. For 2 years I helped care for a very sweet non-verbal preschooler, and during my kids' school years friends often came home with us after school, stayed for dinner, and occasionally overnight when their parents' work schedules needed that kind of help. I still help friends out with babysitting. I love the wonder kids experience in learning about the world, and I love that they give 100%, whether it's with focus, joy, enthusiasm, sadness, frustration, or any other emotion. I like the philosophy that free time, nature and mess provide the best learning environment for kids. Children are one of life's true delights!

Becky is absolutely wonderful, if I could give her ten stars, I would. She helped us out for a few months while I had a temporary work contract, and she was AMAZING. Always on time, friendly, kind, considerate, and so wonderful with our daughter. She read books to her all the time, played, engaged…she is truly the best!! Our daughter still asks if she is coming over to play :)
