About Reka

Experienced educator and mentor with 15+ years working with youth across nonprofit and academic settings. I currently serve as a Team Facilitator and Mentor for college preparatory program, supporting high school juniors and seniors on their path to college. I hold an Initial Certification in Early Childhood Education, a B. A. in Communications from Howard University, and am actively pursuing my A. A. S. in Early Childhood Education at Renton Technical College. I also have hands-on experience in curriculum development and instructional design. I am patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping children and young people grow in confidence and ability. Whether tutoring in math and reading or providing quality childcare, I show up prepared, present, and genuinely invested in every child I work with. Will be CPR trained as of April 25th 2026.
