About Remona

My name is Remona, and I am 20 years old. I have been working with elderly residents since I was 17. I began by caring for a family member, which inspired me to pursue caregiving professionally. I later worked in a longterm care facility for two years, where I gained experience supporting independent residents as well as individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. After that, I transitioned to another facility closer to home, where I worked specifically in memory care. I genuinely enjoy caring for elderly patients because I value building meaningful connections with them. Spending time with residents allows me to learn from their experiences while also providing companionship and support. I take pride in helping others in need, and I believe that small acts such as listening, assisting with daily tasks, and offering reassurance can greatly improve an older person's quality of life.
