About Rhiannon

Hi there! My name is Rhiannon, but I also go by Rhi! I am friendly, curious, and empathetic. I have a deep drive to connect with and care for people, plants, and animals. I like working with kids because they inspire me and renew my wonder and curiosity about the world. I think kids are often more perceptive than adults; they know who has their best interest at heart and ask the best questions. I started working with kids when I was around 13, babysitting around my neighborhood. I then worked as a private tutor throughout high school. During college and post grad, I have worked with justice-involved youths who are often special needs and neurodivergent. I've passed many thorough background checks. In my spare time, I'm usually in my garden. It's my safe place to process my feelings and foster growth and health in my mind and body. My skills include crisis deescalation, extensive first aid and safety training, and an extensive understanding of child development.
