Rita was amazing! My little one doesn’t go to new people easily, but Rita won her over pretty quickly. She is caring, trustworthy, knowledgeable and helpful. Not only did my 10 month old have a fun time playing, the playroom was spotless when she left and all of the dishes (the ones they made and the ones made before she arrived) were cleaned and put away. We have a full time nanny but I will definitely call Rita again!

Rita is an incredible caregiver and nanny, I would recommend her to anyone.  She is prompt and reliable, very attentive, and flexible.  Most importantly, she demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm and joy for working with and being with children, and my children love having her around

Rita is an amazing caregiver! She has been taking care of my 8 month old baby girl for a couple weeks and my girl loves her. She is so happy when she sees her arrive in the morning. Rita was great. She was always on time and very energetic and playful with our kids. She was respectful of our schedules and was happy to help with light house work while the baby slept. She helped us through a very tough time with sick kids and the fires and was loving and caring and committed 

Rita was on time and very sweet and professional. I can tell she is very experienced with playing with little ones. My son immediately bonded with her and they spent their time together playing and they went on a walk. She was very easy to talk to and confident. She has a very warm and positive personality. I definitely recommend her!

An amazing nanny!

You should definitely hire Rita to be your nanny or babysitter. She was my first nanny that I've hired for my 6 month old son, and wow is the benchmark high now for anyone that comes after her. 

I was in Manhattan Beach for 5 days for a work trip, and by the end of the 5 days my son was rubbing his face against hers, loving on her like she was family. 

She's on time.
She's very communicative. Texted me pictures and videos throughout the day of what her and my son were up to.
She's very caring. She kept telling my son how much she loved him.
She wrote detailed notes on when he slept and ate throughout the day for me.
He took great naps and ate great throughout the day with her. 

We hired Rita to take care of our 2yr old son on Super Bowl Sunday and wow I was blown away. She texted to confirm, was on time and very professional. Our son loved her! She was able to put him to sleep without any struggles. She fed him, played with him and changed his diapers. My son isn’t talking yet and I told Rita this and she immediately started practicing sounds with him like a speech therapist. She’s amazing I really can’t say enough good things. Oh & she updates you with pics all day! 

When Rita is on her way to our house we literally say Rita to the rescue! She is an actual angel and my son lights up when he sees her. She has helped us/taught us so much about our newborn. She commutes over 25 miles every day to our house and has never been late once. We are so lucky to have her in our lives. She is so loving, knowledgeable and amazing with our son. She’s been with us since he was 3 weeks old overnights and days. We love Rita!!!!

Rita is wonderful! She is timely, professional, responsible, and caring! Our son loves her (2 years, 1 month old). He recently started pre-school, so we no longer work with her on a daily basis. We worked with her 5 days a week for almost a year. She was on time every single day, and always had the best attitude and high energy. She's incredibly warm and personable, but also able to hold great boundaries with children. She was never on her phone, and loved to draw, play and spend time outside with our son. She always offered to help around the house, and would cook / clean / organize when our son was napping. She also taught our son Portuguese! He would give her a huge hug every time she came and left. We will be using her again for a couple weeks when his school is out for vacation, and we can't wait to see her. My husband and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a wonderful person, and caregiver. 

Rita is an excellent nanny! She has been caring for my 4 month old for about a month now as an interim nanny ( Our regular nanny traveled out of the country). My husband and I could not be happier with Rita. She is very knowledgeable about child development and thinks of creative, fun ways to engage our baby. I love that she is very playful with our baby. It is wonderful to see. Our baby is very comfortable with her, which is such a relief. Rita is dependable, responsible, very loving towards our baby and helpful to my husband and I with light chores (without being asked). I can't say enough good things about her.  I look forward to working with her from time to time as our schedule permits. She is truly exceptional and I enthusiastically recommend her!

Rita cared for our 6 month old twins on a few occasions and helped with our 2.5 yr old toddler. She is a natural with both of these age groups, so genuinely sweet and warm, they all loved her immediately. She is obviously very experienced, a professional nanny. This household can be a bit crazy with three little ones but it is surprisingly (and wonderfully) calm when she is around! I trusted her right away to take great care of the babies as I stepped out to run an errand or take the toddler to school. She also kindly would look for things to do around the house and leave everything very clean and net. Thank you Rita!

Rita did a wonderful job caring for my 6 month old baby for a few weeks while our regular nanny was on vacation. She was prompt, and brought energy and enthusiasm to each and every day. She was always happy to see my daughter and took over as soon as she arrived. There was no waiting around for me to hand over the baby, as I've seen with other caretakers; Rita was proactive and in tune with baby's needs. She also asked any important questions to understand the baby's needs for the day. Rita was very engaging, always talking to and playing with my daughter. She fed her two meals a day, prepared and administered her bottles (both frozen breast milk and formula), changed her diapers, kept her in clean clothes (babies get messy!), and played with her with tons of joy and enthusiasm. She also took great care to look out for baby's safety, especially since my daughter learned to crawl and stand while in Rita's care :) I would gladly hire her again.

Rita was a wonderful find for us for our 5-month-old daughter. She is warm, and loving and has experience with so many babies. Rita always asked how she could help ME, which was comforting! Our daughter lights up to see Rita when she walks through the door. I would recommend Rita in a heartbeat!

We are so grateful Rita came into our lives when she did. She came highly recommended from a friend. Rita has been caring for our 2-year-old son since the beginning of July. She is energetic, reliable and affectionate. She has a warm loving soul and has cared for so many little's and they all adore her. She has a natural affinity towards children. She relates to our son in such a delightful way, turning practically everything into a fun game. She knows how to structure time well, but is also flexible. We feel so fortunate to have had Rita in our home. We are convinced that our son owes much of his positive development to her presence. Her approach to caring complements our parenting style well, as she respects our personal philosophies while being confident enough to independently make day-to-day decisions regarding our son.

We were so lucky to find Rita on Care.com! We talked with a few different nannies + some personal referrals but nobody had as good of references as Rita. 
After meeting with her it's not hard to see why. :) 
She put us at ease right away. 
She was punctual, caring, energetic and our little girl (3 months old) was always so happy to see her.
She is responsive and accommodating but I would suggest moving quickly to hire her because she is in high demand!

Rita is wonderful and so helpful.  I travel for work and my husband works nights.  She helps us frequently while I am away.  My daughter is at a very clingy stage and was challenging when it came to being alone with Rita.  Rita was so patient, kind, and understanding until my daughter was ready.  

Rita comes highly recommended for a reason.  She has so much experience and is very professional.  She is diligent, responsive, and committed to her job. Her communication constant communication provides me so much comfort.  I would recommend her to anyone.

Rita saved the day for us! We needed last minute child care for our 22 month old with a fever. She was very warm and welcoming. She arrived on time and immediately upon entering the house she removed her shoes and asked for a place to wash her hands. Our son initially was a little shy but once he showed her his toys she got right down with him and started playing. Rita was very thorough in asking questions making she sure understood his routine. Even with his fever he was in normal high speed toddler mode. Rita entertained our son with so many activities around the house while I was gone and my husband worked in his office from home. Our son was asking for her all night and the next morning. We feel very safe and happy with Rita's care. Highly recommend!
