Hello! My name is River (she/her)! I recently moved to Salt Lake City from San Diego to further my career as a scientist and researcher at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the University of Utah. However after a year and 9 months, our funding has dried up due to governmental changes in policies and grant extensions. I have decided to take a break from science until it becomes more predictable and secure. I have taken care of children my whole life starting with my younger siblings who I practically raised. I nannied through college and when I first moved to Salt Lake City. I have been nannying for a family in park city all summer long but they are returning to their home state at the end of September. I love working with children as they learn to navigate their lives, with support, a safe home, and the freedom to express their imaginations. I understand how important my role is with take care of your babies!
