Their growth and development is important, and I love to see how they connect with the humans in their lives. While my own cat, Sylvia, just recently died, her life with me and my son for the past 16 years was truly remarkable. Her love and affection, and at times, mischievous behavior, always made me smile. I learned to appreciate and love my home more because it was her home as well. For the last 12 years while caring full time for family with three kids, I also took care of their two Maltese dogs. Raising kids with animals can be one of the most rewarding experiences. I am gentle, kind, loving, affectionate, and love animals -- no matter their personality.
