About Rochelle

Rochelle cared for our daughter during such an important and formative time in our lives as new parents, and we’re truly grateful for the role she played in those early days. At the time, my wife was a first-year orthopedic surgery resident working 100+ hours per week, and I was working from home—so having someone we trusted deeply in our home was incredibly important. We truly couldn’t have been happier with the care Rochelle provided. From the very beginning, she brought a calm, steady, and reassuring presence into our home during a time when everything felt new and uncertain. In many ways, having Rochelle care for our daughter felt like having a parent there to help—someone you trust completely, who genuinely cares, and who brings both experience and warmth into your home. She built a genuine and loving relationship with our daughter, and it showed in every interaction. Rochelle didn’t feel like an employee—she became a member of our family. She created a nurturing environment where our daughter could grow and explore, with a strong emphasis on Montessori-style learning. She was intentional about fostering independence, curiosity, and confidence through play and daily routines. Rochelle also supported our daughter’s development through thoughtful nutrition—preparing healthy, whole-food meals and utilizing a baby-led weaning approach. The love and care she poured into our daughter is evident in who she is becoming—her joy, curiosity, and especially her love of music and dancing will always remind us of Rochelle. As parents, we place a strong emphasis on raising our daughter to be smart, kind, brave, and tough. Rochelle supported that foundation by being present, patient, and attentive, while helping maintain consistency and structure in our daughter’s day-to-day life. Rochelle also did a wonderful job managing our home environment more broadly, including building a great relationship with our 80 lb Weimaraner, Fred. She was comfortable, capable, and thoughtful in caring for both our daughter and our dog. We are incredibly grateful for the care Rochelle provided and the impact she had on our family during such a meaningful chapter. We wish her all the best with the next family she supports.
