I used to care of a 78-year-old elder. My duties included: Checking blood sugar, cleaning the apartment, errands, giving him his medicine, making doctor's appointment, and taking him to doctor's appointments. I would get medicine from pharmacy, check blood pressure, get the CPAC machine ready to use, and do shopping, ordering anything he wants. I make him laugh, move things around, act as his companion, assist him with his needs, and have been patient. I have been treating him with the best of me.
