About Rodnay

I hired Rodnay as a caregiver for my Mother with Alzheimer’s, and I cannot recommend her enough. She was truly a blessing and made a difficult time much better not only for my Mom, but for our whole family. I will be forever grateful that she was with my mom up until her move to a long-term care facility. Rodnay is kind, easy to talk to, down to earth, and most importantly – she has a great sense of humor. My mom absolutely loved her right from the start and very much enjoyed spending time with her - she always had her laughing and smiling! Due to my Mother’s illness, her care needs changed over time and could vary from day to day. Luckily, Rodnay was perceptive and always in-tune with her needs without prompting or direction from us. She went above and beyond with giving her at home spa days, encouraging her to exercise, and getting her to eat and drink plenty of water. She also took care of all of her laundry and kept things organized around the house. My Mom’s health and wellbeing were always Rodnay’s #1 priority and she did a wonderful job of monitoring her for any changes or signs of illness. With her background in healthcare, she had helpful recommendations and insights regarding my mom’s care. She also took her to doctor’s appointments and was helpful in providing them with details of her symptoms and background. Rodnay also sat with my Mom during a hospitalization and made sure she was well taken care of when we couldn’t be there – which was a huge help during a very stressful time. In terms of reliability, Rodnay never missed shifts and was flexible with adding hours as needed. If she needed time off, she let us know well in advance and even coordinated setting up back up care. Rodnay was also a huge help with keeping my mom social, taking her to various family events or visiting with friends when we couldn’t do so. Countless family members and friends reached out to me to say what a great job Rodnay was doing with my Mom, which meant the world to me to hear. It’s difficult to sum up all that Rodnay did for us, but I can say that hiring her was the best decision and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caregiver. She is one in a million and if you have the opportunity to hire her to work with your family, definitely do it!
